  1. Team Up

  2. Move More

  3. Strengthen Your Core

  4. Maximise Your Grip

HYSOXS TOP TIP 1:  TEAM UP

We love a good team event and Synchro Games values and promotes teamwork and camaraderie. Make sure your team of 4 is solid and know how to train together. It will be essential to get some hours in the bag working on skills and seeing who it your strongest, fastest and fittest link. Knowing this means you can game the workouts and maximise your teams joint efforts throughout the zones.

HYSOXS TOP TIP 2:  MOVE MORE

If you haven't already adopted a more active lifestyle, then now is the time to start! A rigid body translates to fatigue during the race and soreness afterwards. So, being proactive and moving more will be key.  Don't forget that you will be running, jumping, thrusting, and swinging your arms about. Therefore, testing out your level of fitness and looking to improve on it week by week is a must as there’s a good chance you’ll have to use muscles that don’t get used very often!

HYSOXS TOP TIP 3:  STRENGTHEN YOUR CORE

The core is a perpetual focus in the world of exercise. However, many people only associate the core with their abdominal muscles, when in reality, the core comprise muscles from your chest down to your legs. This is an important focus, considering that every zone will activate your entire core in one way or another, and a weak core will ultimately lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries. A fitness program that includes both full body and core exercises can help you massively.

HYSOXS TOP TIP 4:  MAXIMIZE YOUR GRIP

When you are racing against the clock and tackling through each zone, the last thing you want is a shoe malfunction! Making sure you have socks with renowned grip is vital for achieving maximum traction and performance .

Hysoxs Hybrid Racing Compression Socks are tried, tested and trusted by athletes of all ilk. Our socks are over-engineered by design to protect foot stability, provide compression and improve performance and maximise grip. The key feature of our socks are the grips on the sole. They have been meticulously placed to increase friction by digging into your foot and shoe. The overall effect of this gives a kind of shoe sole on the sock feel— without sacrificing the comfort, flexibility, and tactile nature of our amazing compression sock. We have also designed our socks in a way that prevent blisters, allows for more ventilation and reduces the overall risk of foot-related injuries.

CONCLUSION

Let’s wrap things up with a reminder that Synchro Games is first and foremost about having fun through teamwork, personal challenges, and of course, sweat... lots and lots of sweat. The advice in this blog is simply meant to help you show up a little more prepared in order to better enjoy every minute of the Synchro Games experience. Remember that Hysoxs will be in attendance and we can't wait to see you all there.
